Genre Choice for Film: Action

 It is finally official! Our genre of choice for our film is action! All of our group loves action movies. Like John Wick, James Bond, and Top Gun. Though our favorite action move is probably the new Batman movie on HBO Max. These movies are so amazing and really gave us a wonderful baseline for what our movie should look like. We almost chose a few different genres. One of the most likely choices we put was thriller genre. Which is very similar to action. Since action moves have a lot of thrill moments in them. But for our movie, where we rob a bank, action seems appropriate. It doesn't seem like we need to tweak our pitch. Not a big tweak at least. We've always had the plan of doing a bank robbing film. Action seemed perfect and fit the best to our pitch. We are super excited to continue planning. Especially since we all know that each one of us has great ideas. With the combination of everybody's ideas, we can make a great film. Wish we didn't have to limit it to 5 minutes. Despite that, we are so happy to continue working on the film!

Storyboard blog: Storyboard for our music video

  Storyboard Blog Scene 1: Our music video starts out with all the characters walking up to a ticket booth. The ticket booth of an ice skating rink. The characters hand the ticket booth worker money and buy their tickets. This will be a medium-long shot. Scene 2: There is a wipe transition to characters walking to the rink. They head over to the ice skates place. This will be an over the shoulder shot. Scene 3: There is a jump cut. They then purchase their ice skates. Everyone now grabs their ice skates in a medium-long shot. Scene 4: This scene starts out with a split screen of character putting on their ice skates. Tying their laces. It beings with a fade-in. Scene 5: Our characters walk onto the ice. We are using a tracking shot to follow them around the ice skating rink.  Scene 6: One of our characters is focused on. They are ice skating as well.
